Mindful Habits Begin With Me: Emotional Intelligence Cards for Kids

HK$230.00

It’s proven - research shows EQ determines 80% of life’s success - and we build tools to equip kids with these essential skills early.

Our bilingual Mindful Habits cards help children cope with big emotions and build resilience, with colourful visuals to help open up about school and friendship challenges with parents or caregivers. The cards encourage social emotional learning for improved self awareness, relationships skills, and responsible decision making, with topics on empathy, gratitude, making mistakes, money, and even bullying and social media, which can be difficult to bring up.

Parents use our Mindful Habits cards daily or weekly to get to know their kids better, helping kids pick cards to set mindful goals for calmer and more confident versions of themselves.

Step 1: At the beginning of each week, pick one card together with your child, based on a growth, connection or wellbeing area that your child can improve on.

Step 2: Discuss scenarios at school or at home where your child has the opportunity to practice this new skill, what challenges they may face and what action they can take. Place sticky notes in their school bag or around the house to remind them of the goal.

Step 3: At the end of the week, discuss what progress has been made. Encouraging them to share their experiences from school, with friends and at home. How do these new actions make you feel?

Happy self-discoveries!
